Chicago house pioneer Lil Louis is celebrating his 49th year (of DJing) and returning to Chicago for one night only this July.
Lil Louis: The 49 Tour takes place July 1 2023 at The Riviera — a venue steeped in Chicago dance music history, though not lately:
Completed in 1917 by architects George and C.W. Rapp (Rapp & Rapp), it was built as a movie theater for the Balaban & Katz chain. Transformed into a private nightclub in 1986, the Riviera Theatre is now one of Chicago’s premier concert and special events venues.
Lil Louis: The 49 Tour will also feature TSHA, Ron Carroll, DJ Heather, Lady D and CTRLZORA.
