Chicago house music legend DJ Diz is currently hospitalized after a medical emergency led to acute kidney failure.
The DJ and producer and half of the Iz & Diz duo is currently undergoing dialysis treatments on alternative days and is awaiting to be discharged for outpatient care.
DJ Heather has created a GoFundMe to assist Diz with expenses while he will be unable to work and focusing on his recovery. The campaign has raised nearly $30,000 thus far, which provides a bit of a runway to one of Chicago’s essential house music artists.
