Updated: RSVP for the March 31st Frankie Knuckles Tribute is now open. Enter the date Euro-style (DD/MM/YY).

You’re not ready and we’re not worthy. None of us were quite prepared for the Dance Mania and Phuture live sets when Boiler Room last touched down in Chicago in 2014, and you ain’t ready for this one either. The broadcaster has announced the long-speculated return of Boiler Room to Chicago this March 30th and March 31st.

The two-headed event brings out some of the best of Chicago’s history. On March 30th, Boiler Room will be broadcasting from “one of the city’s oldest and most beloved institutions” (a secret, obviously) with a line-up including Gene Farris, DJ Hyperactive, The Black Madonna, Jamie 3:26, Mike Dunn and Andrew Emil aka Change Request.

The next day, March 31st, Boiler Room presents a special tribute to Frankie Knuckles. With the full support of the Frankie Knuckles Foundation, the line-up will consist of Derrick Carter, Michael Serafini from Gramaphone, Alan King of the Chosen Few and our good friend Elbert Phillips.

Both line-ups are subject to change and “surprises” are expected.

I think you probably want to lock-in on this page at boilerroom.tv.
