I-94 is the vital artery that connects the cities of Chicago and Detroit – sometimes rivals, sometimes collaborators and always, always up in each other’s business.

Rarely will that road be as well-traveled as this November 10th through November 15th, 2015. That’s when Boiler Room is returning to the Midwest for “Chicago vs. Detroit” – four shows in six days, mix-and-matching a stunning roster of Chicago and Detroit artists in each of the two Midwest cities.

Beginning on November 10, 2015, Boiler Room hits Chicago for the first time since the Frankie Knuckles Tribute last March. Day One features Detroit’s Terrence Parker and Detroit Techno Militia with Chicago legends Joe Smooth & Sterling Void, DJ Heather, Anthony Nicholson and Lester Fitzpatrick.

Day Two in Chicago is on November 11, 2015 and features Africans with Mainframes (live), plus Specter, Argot Soundsystem and Hakim Murphy.

For the next two shows, Boiler Room will scurry down I-94 to Detroit. On November 14, 2015, Boiler Room presents multi-instrumentalist Amp Fiddler with Detroit Grand Pubahs, Golf Clap, OB Ignitt & John FM and Matthew Hawtin. On November 15, 2015, Boiler Room will present a live set by Chicago’s Virgo Four (Merwyn Sanders), plus Blake Baxter, Farley Jackmaster Funk, DJ Minx, K-HAND and Chicago’s DJ Skull.

The location for each event is a secret up until the day of. A mini-site for the Detroit/Chicago experience just launched here, where you can request an invite to any (and hopefully all) of the four events.
