Rawfila Acid Intensity album art

Japanese producer Rawfila recruits two artists from Chicago for a four track acid meltdown. The original track breaks it down, raw’az’hell Chicago tracks style, into elementary particles — rabid drum patterns crab-walking over off-kilter 303 loops. Jana Rush steals the show here with two upfront remixes — both extremely fast, short and out of control. One seems primed for bass music and footwork DJs, the other a kind of throwback to the lo-fi demo beat tracks of the ’90s. Robert Armani sews this one up with a ferocious remix of his own — he’s still the man that can make the 303 growl like no one else.
