If you’ve been thinking about giving up modular synths, think again. The Atlantis Eurorack Synth Module from Intellijel Designs is “inspired” by the architecture and sound of the fabled Roland SH-101, the less storied workhorse from the Roland family (and also serves as a nice poke in the ribs to the rather glacial pace of Roland’s release schedule).
Intellijel has released this artfully hazy demonstration video which it claims is “just scratching the surface” of what the Atlantis is capable of (I think you’ll be interested to skip forward to about 2:30 if you don’t want to watch the whole thing):
