Movement 2021 is not happening, but there is a replacement.

Micro Movement is the charming title for a scaled-back mini-festival spread across multiple clubs in Detroit. The festival will take place at the same time as Movement ordinarily would — May 28 through May 31 2021. Paxahau is announcing an all-Detroit talent pool, including Rick Wilhite, Kevin Saunderson, Delano Smith, Norm Talley, Terrence Parker, Waajeed, DJ Minx, Al Ester, Bruce Bailey, Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen, Remote Viewing Party and more.

The shows will be day to night with “extremely limited capacity” and (maybe most surprising of all) no cover charge at the venues, which include TV Lounge, Magic Stick Alley Deck and Spotlight.

DJs announced include ADMN, Al Ester b2b Bruce Bailey, Andrea Ghita, Ataxia B2B Mister Joshooa, Carl Craig A2A Stacey Pullen, Chris Worthy, Chuck Daniels, Craig Gonzalez, Damarii Saunderson, Dantiez Saunderson, Deepfake, Delano Smith, Dez Andrés, DJ Head, DJ Holographic, DJ Minx, Donna Gardner, Drummer B, Eastside Jon, Erno, G Next & Big Strick, Gettoblaster, Henry Brooks, Hotwaxx Hale, Jakob Harris, Jesse Cory, Kevin Saunderson, King Saaidi, Kyle Hall, Ladymonix, Loren b2b Jorissen, Malik Alston, Matthew Dear, Michael Fotias, Mona Black, Norm Talley, Remote Viewing Party, Rick Wilhite, Secrets, Sheefy McFly, Stefan Ringer, Terrence Parker, The AM, Tylr_, Vincent Patricola, Waajeed and Wavepoint, with “more to come.”

The event will also be livestreamed on paxahau.tv.
