Disclosure dropped today a rather bizarre album promo for their forthcoming LP Caracal. The highly anticipated album (which might well be the buoy that measures whether at least one of the Dance Music Bubbles are about to pop) features collaborations with Gregory Porter, Lorde, Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Lion Babe, Kwabs, Miguel, Nao, Jordan Rakei and Brendan Riley, some of which discriminating music lovers may even find audibly tolerable.
The promo mix on youtube enables you to hear a (very) short clip of the collaboration with each artist by clicking on their head (annotations need to be enabled in the video setting).
Caracal will be released a week from tomorrow, September 25 2015. The following month, Disclosure comes to Chicago in a React event at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall with Claude von Stroke and Pomo. Tickets for the October 15 2015 date are available via clubtix.
