Matt Jam Lamont & Scott Diaz (here as “Echelon”) have released an album’s worth of material in 2021, dripping out track by track like they’re teasing one.

“Undastand” is the latest, a heartfelt but slamming UK Garage track dropped just before the year ran away from us. They have an absolutely killer hook here, it makes your head swim to listen to it on a loop, and what’s most impressive is how patient they are: it drops in, pulls back, and doesn’t square up to knock you out until you’re ready for it.

If only every track that was so sweet hit so hard. This is out now and you can pick it up at Bandcamp.
