On the top side is “Feelin Nervous,” a livewire of a song featuring a sweet melody, tightly wound vocal from E. Live and some crafty chops. The arrangement is tip-top to boot: this song stays with you, the way a strong bolt of bourbon hangs around for an afterglow.
The B-side is “Feel You Up,” an instrumental funk jam bursting with synthesized exuberance and joy. Nothing ordinary about this sweet 45 of electrified soul.
