“Leather Patrol” might evoke images of Rob Halford and aggro metal, and when it comes to a Carpenter Brut show, you might not be that far off.
The French electro-synth musician is launching his Leather Patrol Tour across the United States and Canada in April on the back of his new LP. Leather Teeth, which dropped last week, is more of what you came here for: hyperaggressive synths, debilitating basslines and some of the darkest synth stabs ever forged:
The US leg of the tour launches on April 12 in LA, swings through Coachella on April 13 and wraps up on May 6 at New York’s Irving Plaza. In between he’s stopping off at Concord Music Hall in Chicago on April 26 presented by dot to dot management and React; tickets are available here.
