DJ, producer and I Love Acid label and club night co-founder Posthuman will be anchoring what promoters call “Chicago’s first annual all acid house blacklight bowling party.” And we’re not going to contradict them.
The Acid Bowl is being held on April 29, 2022 at Timber Lanes (1851 W. Irving Park in Chicago). Posthuman will be joined on the decks by Frankie Vega, Josh Werner and DJ Warp. This will mark a Chicago date on Posthuman’s first US tour.
I Love Acid started as a club night in London in 2007 and expanded into a 12″ vinyl record label (with each release limited to 303 copies) in 2014. The event is being promoted with People of Rhythm Productions.
Tickets are only available in advance online and limited to 150 and are available via eventbrite.com. On a positive note, the ticket price of $20 includes “unlimited blacklight bowling” and free shoe rentals. Further details below.
