What we called “one of the underground events of the summer in Chicago” will have to be “one of the underground events of the Fall” instead.

Shake Shop Records launch party — originally scheduled for this August 28 — has been postponed and rescheduled for October 2, organizers announced. The event features special guests Moodymann, Eddie Fowlkes, K’Alexi Shelby and Joe Smooth with Shake Shop Records’ KC Wray and Spybar resident NO:SL33P.

“Due to logistical circumstances behind everyone’s control,” the organizers announced, “the Moodymann show has is rescheduled for October 2nd. Tickets purchased for the August 28th show will be valid for the future event.

“In the event you can’t make the future date you can request a refund through our ticket agent, thebloxoffice.com.”

Tickets for the event and the new October 2, 2021 date are still available via thebloxoffice.com; more information including ticket availability are available at the Facebook event page.
