Tortured Soul has added a show in Chicago just ahead of Valentine’s Day.
The legendary live R&B, soul and house music band will be touching down for one-night-only at Cobra Lounge on Valentine’s Day weekend — Saturday February 12, 2022 at Cobra Lounge, with support from Lady D and Larry Miller.
Tortured Soul recently released their 20th Anniversary LP — an album providing an overview of the band’s two decade recording career with a few rarities and live studio recordings thrown in. “You can always tell a band that’s lead by a drummer,” 5 Mag wrote. “Their sound is tight and their records are even tighter, screwed down so hard that the screwdriver breaks off. That’ been true of Tortured Soul, the soulful trio whose two constants over the years have been drummer/vocalist John Christian Urich and an almost fanatical consistency.”
